Late last night I uploaded this video my roommate and I recorded over the summer.

Three and a half years ago, just after we graduated from high school, we decided to turn one of our typical “messing around on iSight” moments into a “video podcast,” which we spectacularly failed at ever making a subsequent episode for. This past summer, we were messing around on iSight again and found much of what we were saying and doing to mirror that beloved failure of a project from three years ago so we decided it would be the second episode.

This is not actually a thing.

However, posting strange videos of my roommate and I or silly projects I amuse myself with on weekends is a thing and it is especially a thing that you will often only see those videos if you’re following me on tumblr because you all are just special like that.

And it’s up! Thanks to the people of tumblr and twitter for giving me something to do while waiting for it to upload because, y’know, working on midterms would’ve been too mainstream.

In case you missed it, I uploaded an HPA vlog yesterday evening about Wrockstock, which is now letting you name your own price for registration. Check out their website for more info.

This year Wrockstock is Oct. 28-31 in Potosi, Missouri. A ton of wrock bands will be playing including Draco & the Malfoys whose performance will be their second to last one EVER. If you can get out to Missouri next weekend, you now have no reason not to go. If you haven’t been able to afford Wrockstock or similar HP events like conferences in the past, this is a seriously incredible opportunity. 

I posted my HPA vlog late last night so you may have missed it. In it, I take a look back at the DHC and remember how Esther helped us get here by celebrating Esther Day. 

Esther Day may be over now, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop celebrating, remembering and loving. 

Earlier today, I was planning my weekly HPA vlog and thought of the perfect ending. Unfortunately, said ending required footage from LeakyCon that I didn’t take nor have I yet collected from any other HPA staffers.

THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR THE IMAGINE BETTER CONTEST HAS BEEN EXTENDED!!

Silly Harry Potter fandom and Nerdfighters, always breaking the internet. So many of you amazing people have been submitting that it was too much for the site to handle and it broke down yesterday. Since this meant so many people couldn’t submit that wanted to, we’ve extended the submission deadline until July 22nd at 11:59 pm ET. 

Wednesday HPA Vlog about the LeakyCon online programming, Portkey!

It’s unfortunate that I didn’t realize how poor my lighting was or how tired I really was when I filmed this… but I still had a lot of fun putting it together and getting to share this with everyone who won’t be at LeakyCon. I didn’t think I was going to be able to go until last month so I remember what it was like constantly hearing about LeakyCon and knowing I’d just be sitting alone on the night of the release so it’s important to me that you all know about Portkey.

Yo! I made an HPA Vlog yesterday to recruit you all into Dumbledore’s Army.
