  • Okay, story time. In high school, on the speech team, one of the guys did an abridged version of The Lion King for his humorous interpretation and it started by him yelling ”The Circle Life” basically like how this graphic is written out. For those who didn’t do speech and debate in high school, competitions take place in classrooms at local high schools. My favorite thing ever for the entire year was to be in a dramatic interpretation round in a classroom adjacent to the humorous round my friend was in. Some kid would be performing, super seriously crying about their dying husband or something and then, from the next room, you hear “MAAA ISIVENJGHYAA BABA NGVITSIOVOADSFKJ!!!!!” Best. Ever.
